Perhaps it was a given that Maryland (10-9, 4-8 Big Ten) would fall to Penn State Feb. 5. After all, the Terps have followed up each of their previous conference wins with losses the ensuing outing (Wingate notwithstanding), and UMD was fresh off of a potential season-swinging victory against Purdue.
But, true to form, Maryland’s offense never found itself against PSU, and the Terps produced their lowest scoring output of the season.
