A normally verbose coach, even in the wake of defeat, Mark Turgeon was uncharacteristically short a couple times following his team’s loss to Wisconsin. The Terps, fresh off a third uplifting road win against Minnesota, once again came crashing back to earth with a 61-55 loss to the Badgers at Xfinity Center Jan. 27. Maryland is now 9-8 and 3-7 in the Big Ten, following up each conference road win against a ranked team with a letdown the next time out.
