Maryland had its third staff departure of the day Jan. 26 when defensive coordinator Jon Hoke accepted a job as the Atlanta Falcons’ defensive backs coach. Earlier in the day, receivers’ coach Joker Phillips left for NC State and director of recruiting operations Taylor Edwards headed to South Carolina. UMD now has seen five coaches and six staff members depart College Park, Md., this offseason.
