Phillips Leaves Maryland For NC State

Maryland had its fourth coaching departure this offseason with receivers’ coach Joker Phillips heading to NC State.

Phillips, a 30-year veteran of the collegiate and NFL ranks, joined Maryland in 2019. The Kentucky native, who was a former head coach at Kentucky, coached receivers at UK, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Florida and in the NFL.
