2022 CB Whitaker Chooses Terps

Maryland added its fifth commitment of the 2022 class Jan. 4 when cornerback Lionell Whitaker (James Rickards/Tallahassee, Fla.) committed to the Terps over a host of other suitors. Whitaker earned a Maryland offer from assistant Brawley Evans back in 2019 and had been building a rapport with him since then.
