OLB Andrews Enters Transfer Portal

A eighth Maryland player entered the transfer portal Dec. 29 when outside linebacker Cortez Andrews elected to leave College Park, Md. The 6-foot, 230-pound sophomore from Tallahassee, Fla., looked like a promising up-and-coming player after his 2019 campaign, but he fell down the depth chart in 2020. Andrews did appear in all five games in 2020, but he recorded just three total tackles in limited time.
