Locksley Addresses Program Culture, Changes At B1G Media Day

Maryland head coach Mike Locksley addressed the media at Big Ten media day July 18. Here is a summary of what he said in the press conference:

Opening Statement

-- Locksley said anyone that knows him well knows it’s been a dream for him to coach at Maryland. He’s from the area and he’s always wanted to be at UMD. He told a story of how there’s a wall in his house that has plaques of all the places he’s coached, either as an assistant or head coach.
