The Terps picked up commitment No. 20 in the 2021 class Aug. 16 when local running back Roman Hemby (John Carroll/Bel Air, Md.) pledged to the hometown school. The 6-foot, 190-pound three-star chose Maryland over West Virginia, Duke and Vanderbilt. He is the third running back pledge in the current crop, alongside Colby McDonald and Antwain Littleton from St. John’s (Washington, D.C.).
