OLB Troutman Highly Intrigued By Terps After Offer

Outside linebacker Renel Troutman (Calvary Christian/Miami, Fla.) announced a top-three leaderboard of Indiana, Virginia and Vanderbilt on Feb. 22, but a day later that leaderboard became a top four. The 6-foot, 220-pounder earned a coveted Maryland offer from assistant Brian Williams Feb. 23 and promptly declared UMD a school of primary interest.

“Maryland is a place I’m really considering playing at,” Troutman said.
