DT Akingbesote On Board With The Hometown Terps

Defensive tackle Tommy Akingbesote (Flowers/Springdale, Md.) dubbed Maryland his leader on May 19, and one week later the 6-foot-4, 280-pound four-star committed to the hometown school. Akingbesote originally said he’d wait until mid-June or July to announce his decision, giving him more time to conduct virtual visits with the other six contenders on his top-seven favorites list, but Akingbesote elected not to delay the inevitable.
