Local RB Coombs Commits To Maryland

Maryland picked up its sixth commitment of the 2025 class May 1 in local running back Bud Coombs (DeMatha/Hyattsville, Md.). The 5-foot-10, 185-pound three star, who doubles (pun intended) as an outfielder on the baseball diamond and intends to continue doing so in College Park, Md., has been a target for more than a year and opted for the Terps over a host of suitors.

“Maryland is a school I’ve been around my entire life,” Coombs said.
